Terms And Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website. By accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to the terms and conditions. By placing an order with Enchanted Gerard you are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions. If you have any queries or questions please contact us at info@enchantedgerard.com.

 

Placing An Order

A contract between you, the customer and Enchanted Gerard is created as follows:

  • You place an order for products via the telephone, mail order or website by pressing the confirm option at   the end of the check-out process.
  • We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us.
  • Once we have accepted the order, we will then send you a dispatch confirmation email.
  • Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of products ordered, unless we have notified you otherwise.

With regard to ordering furniture-
It is important that you carefully measure both ultimate location of item of furniture and ALSO whether you can get it to the location. Do you have any tight corners on your stairscase or narrow doorways? If in any doubt at this time, please be sure to check again and let us know if there is a problem.  

 

Paying by cheque - We are happy to accept payment by cheque. Please send us an email detailing your order with your name, address & contact details. We will then send you a confirmation email with our address details of where to send your order & cheque. Please remember to allow time for your cheque to clear before the dispatch of your order.

Non- acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The product you ordered being unavailable.
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
  • The identification of a pricing or product description error.

In the event of any of the above occuring, we will send you an email informing you.  

Cancelling Orders

Customers are entitled to cancel an order no longer than seven working days after the day on which they ordered the products.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract prior to order dispatch, please contact us immediately.       

If your order has already been dispatched please follow the procedure set out in our  Returns Policy

If cancellation of order takes place after the items have been delivered, refunds will be made less the cost of delivery.

Payment

All prices quoted are UK Sterling.

* The postal chart is not applicable to the delivery of furniture. This is calculated individually on request. This is so that we can tailor the best possible charge.

Rest of World Delivery Charges

For information on delivery to rest of world, please email specifing item/s of interest and the country to which you would like delivery to be made, We will then calculate the best possible shipping cost quote and email the details to you.

Payment can be made by using one of the following options:

  • Website - Using Visa, Delta, Switch, Mastercard, JCB, Solo, Visa Electron - via Paypal system - a secure, easy & free way for you to pay for your purchases.  
  • Mail - Using Bankers Cheque, Postal Order or Personal Cheque (UK only), made payable to 'Belinda Gerard' (Please allow 7 to10 working days for Personal Cheques to clear before the dispatch of goods)

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of the payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be able to dispatch the goods. You will however be informed by email if this happens. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. Credit/debit card transactions are made via Paypals secure server.

Returns Policy

Returns should be made in the original, undamaged packaging, and we reserve the right to withold a percentage of the refund value of the returned goods if the product or packaging is in such a condition that the item needs to be reduced in price for resale. Where goods are returned due to damages or faults delivery charges will also be refunded. Where goods are returned when no fault or damage is reported delivery charges will not be refunded.

Details of our return address will be sent with your order.

Returning Large Items Of Furniture

Collection of large items of furniture will be arranged by Enchanted Gerard. We are not able to refund the cost of delivery or collection for these items.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order before it is due to be dispatched, please email us immediately, quoting your name and order reference number. In the event that the item has already been dispatched, the customer will incur the cost of delivery.

Privacy Policy

When you shop with Enchanted Gerard, we will ask you for Personal Information such as your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, product selections, payment information (credit card/ debit card payment information will be handled on Paypals secure server). We will treat all your Personal Information as highly confidential and in full compliance with the UK Data Personal Information Act 1998. We will not release your Personal Information to any company/third party outside Enchanted Gerard.

Product Description

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, desriptions and prices of  products appearing on our website are correct. We aim to keep the website as up to date as possible.
